Okay, the idea of this post was to get some more TIE list generation out there. If anyone else wants to comment/update these list ideas or just find a way to substitute a TIE into one of your rebel lists please do so. There is some definite low point ship potential with the new TIE, lets find out where it fits best!!!

Dash & Friends. Ahsoka can add action economy, evade tokens, BMST damage & general annoyance. Jake can Ace about and assist Dash. Not awesome synergy with Lone Wolf now that I look at it. possibly more tweaking.

I still enjoy a fully kitted Ahsoka with Operations Specialist, Captured Tie and BMST, and four Snap Shot GSPs. If you have the room, you can try and fit Juke on those GSPs for added damage penetration potential.

Yup. At just 40 points for the pair of them (including a 1pt astromech for Biggs), they present a big headache to builds that rely on a particularly heavy damage dealer. They outright laugh at Dengaroo. And 60 points is plenty for a well tooled-up Rey or Dash.

Pretty close. I wouldn't bother with the upgrades on Rex though. Captured Tie needs a high PS to work effectively and Rex needs to be shooting to take advantage of his "Supressive Fire" condition. Sabine's Masterpiece gives a crew and illicit slots but you don't have the crew to put anything in there (although I guess you could add Chopper for giggles).

I would drop the Captured Tie to save a point. Then you could put an Inspiring Recruit in the crew slot just in case anyone tries to double-stress Rey.

run BMST with a tactician for more offense for Rex, then run a kanan Jarrus for the third ship! reduce the attack dice by 2! and you can toss a Autoblaster on him to make them NOT want to get close while flying biggs behind him with a tactical jammer to give out more green dice to bigs! would take a lot of practice to fly but could be a LOT of fun!

I thought about Kanan, that would make Biggs incredibly tanky. You wouldn't be able to field the Phantom with Kanan, Biggs and Rex, though. Well, you could, but Kanan would be pretty much naked. What about something like this?...

Suppresive Fire or Evade token for Biggs/Kanan and tons of focus everywhere. Kanan also can obstruct attacks. Fly them in a line and watch them go. I want to test it with and without cloaking device in favor of a better astromech on Biggs.

Thinking a little more on my list above, I'd guess Rex could actually fly in front of Kanan to prevent bumps on him, with Rex hopefully still protected by Biggs. Kanan drops Cluster Mines for those foolish enough to go behind the group.

I am still enamored with the idea of Heff just plowing through things, though. Here's a tweak to my original thought.

I call this build the Salvage yard rebellion, Hera shows up at a Salvage Yard with an astromech & a Turret and leaves with a Rebel force! I don't play a lot of Ghost, I prefer the controls of a YT-1300... Can you re-dock a Phantom? Idea being bring Phantom out early whilst biggs is soaking the shots.

How about this? VI to keep Rey on top of Dengar,Fenn,Vader, Backdraft, others... PS Since Rex will be wanting to fire at ships a lot he'll be getting focus out of Jyns ability to give to Rey. Late game Rey may benefit from VI more than expertise in some matchups.

This list feels like a fever dream. Miranda does Miranda things. Ahsoka is pure support as long as she can. The Y is a thorn in the side. I desperately want to find another point for the R2 astromech (plus IA) on the Y. I've also thought about two naked Bandits instead of the Y, which might make more sense...they could trail Miranda and Ahsoka and work as blockers if I encounter aces.

Rey isn't going to be as helpful as you'll want on Ahsoka, as she's likely spending her focus tokens quickly. You could get that extra point you want if you dropped Rey for an Intel Agent, who can help Miranda determine if she needs to SLAM or not.

I'm going to try it with Rey today and see if I like it. My thought was she's moreso banking the focuses for Ahsoka to use later when she inevitably drops the Captured Tie, so she can have those focuses for herself. I do like that idea about Intel Agent, though and will keep it in mind if my original list doesn't quite work.

Just tried my Ahsoka/Miranda/Goldie list and it did really well against a pretty fat, new Upsilon Shuttle, Omega Ace (Juke/Comm Relay) and Omega Leader (Juke/Comm Relay). I was surprised that I barely used Rey, so maybe she isn't a good fit. I had 4 focus banked on Rey at one point, but never even ended up spending one to help Miranda. Part of that was because I was against a PS4, 7 and 8, so no one could target her. That turned her into a pretty good "next turn" blocker for a PS9, but also pulled her away from supporting Miranda. I did end up using Rey a decent amount towards the end when Aksoka got into the fight. I think I'm going to try the same build again and see if I can take more advantage of Ahsoka. We both forgot some stuff, being unfamiliar with the new ships, so I'm taking this win with a heavy grain of salt. Such as, Ahsoka could have popped her EMP a turn before she did and that would have ran the shuttle off the board. The EMP still did pretty good, but could have sealed the shuttles fate a little early and let me put more shots on one of the Omegas that much sooner.

First game takeaways:

• Miranda continues to be a scary beast
• Ahsoka can be forgotten as a potential attacker, putting her in a prime flanking position on the opposition
• Having a tender target like a TLT Y-wing is just as valuable for distracting the opponent from Miranda as is dealing damage.
• There might be (probably is) a better choice than Rey on Ahsoka
• I've pondered two Bandits instead of the Y-wing. If I find the point for the R2+IA, then probably no. But not....they could really make Miranda's bombs easier to dish out.

The true power of Ahsoka basically turns any ship into PS13 in the activation phase. Take something like this for example:

Nien Nunb moves, does not PTL. He takes a focus. All other ships have now moved, and combat phase begins. Ahsoka uses her ability on Nien Nunb. Since he knows where every ship has ended up, he can boost/broll/TL, get range 1, drop the stress, and stress with stressbot, ending stress free. Not too mention he has black one and just removed two TLs. Primed thrusters allows him to do this, even if he gets stressed from Asajj,tactician, or if he kturned, etc.

With Biggs, he can move and focus like always. But after all ships have moved and combat phase begins, Ahsoka allows him to TL. And with R7, he TLs the biggest gun and forces him to reroll his attack dice!!!

Ahsoka will be awesome.

Why Rey crew? Well, she has to maintain range 1, so when Nien Nunb kturns, she probably wants to face the same direction for the following round, and a couple saved focuses from Rey lets her get her ability off. Also, if she gets blocked or stressed (mara jade, upsilon title, asajj, etc.

I've flown this list last night to a 3th place in a local store tournament. Watching their dice melt due to rex and Tactical Jammer on sponge Biggs and then returning the favor with a steady stream of 4-5 hits with expertise Rey is rather satisfying. Fun list to fly!

I put together a build like this but instead of Hera and R4-D6, I put Fire Control Systems on the Lothal.

This will give the Lothal the extra Dice Mods that it will need in order for the Primary and TLT shots to really punch through.

Biggs will last long enough, especially if you are using Rex correctly.

Thanks for this thread, I haven't had a lot of time to theorycraft lately and I'm still a bit overwhelmed when trying to dream up rebel and imperial lists (bought the factions off a friend who got out of the game so I went from zero to everything in the blink of an eye). I've taken your first build and adapted it a bit to suit my tastes. I dropped the black market slicer tools (I love the idea of them but in practice I've rarely gotten anything out of them even as a deterrant), dropped the heavy laser to a mango and upgraded Dash to Push the Limit. I figure between Jan, Rec Spec and Push he'll be pretty nutty. This left 3 points so I threw a Push on Jake as well. That might be overkill so I might switch that up but I'll find out tomorrow.

Edit: I might instead give Juke to Dash and try to keep Sabine from firing for a while but I'm not sure how that'd work out.
