Some of the other eye-catching art includes Bossk on Cloud City, C-21 Highsinger taking out a bunch of thugs, and Dr. Aphra of all people opening Chapter II.
I have "No Disintegrations". Questions?
No problem. My pleasure, I just don't want to cross any lines with FFG. I know you all are going to buy it so I don't think it'll be a problem.
You have joined the noble ranks of the official book Spoilors, good sir! It is an ancient and sacred duty, and you fulfill it admirably!
...
But there's no pay or anything. It's all for the good of the cause, you see!

Uhm modder? Signature vehicle jetpack!

This doesn't work by RAW because a jetpack makes you into the vehicle and players don't have hardpoints. Of course, neither do Jetpacks.

In that case use thinker to add a hardpoint.
Or you know, just strap a rocket launcher onto your jetpack, there is literally no reason not install both into the same backpack. Works in the same way as it would for droids.

Tinker can't add a HP to a player. I'm not saying you couldn't do it IRL or come up with a logical reason a player couldn't do it. I'm saying it isn't strictly possible by the rules. Which is why people are looking for new RAW on the matter. It's easy to say that something should be possible, but people like to have official ruling on things. Particularly if they are a little on the powerful side like rockets tend to be.
edit: Going to take this discussion elsewhere as I have no intention of being the guy to highjack the thread about the new book. Sorry about that.
Edited by SladeWestonYou add the HP to the jetpack. And strictly by the rules you can duct tape a rocket launcher to whatever you want. The rules even go into detail how this works for internalizing gear with droids.

There is also a light flame projector, grapnel-harpoon launcher, and a repulse cannon. Mini-rockets and launcher are in there (with armour mount). NO brawl weapons and only 2 melee.
Some additional details about the weapons (particularly the melee weapons) or perhaps some about the attachments would be appreciated.

I always love seeing Bossk!
Melee weapons?

I believe RAW Jetpacks that have been previously released can't get attachments in addition to having 0HP but maybe I'm wrong on that. I'll have to check.
Pg 181. EotE-CRB
QuoteA jetpack allows a person to function as a Silhouette 1, Speed 2, Handling 0, System Strain Threshold 3 vehicle that can only operate in atmosphere, and requires Piloting (Planetary) to operate.
That is what is says for the Z-6 Jetpack in the CRB, so I think it would be up to the GM. Though I would still go for the shoulder mounted mini-rockets.
I would imagine one can just attach a rocket launcher or mini-rocket launcher to their armor with the VX Hands-Free Weapon System.
Another question is any wrist-mounted dart systems? I would like to shoot people with Kamino Saber Darts.
Found it!
KWS Mk 1 Saberdarts, pg 41 FaD - Endless Vigil
I'd love to hear some more details on the mini-rocket launcher and the rockets it fires. How does the armor mounting option for that compare to what we have in Dangerous Covenants?
Also, some information about new weapon or armor attachments would be great.

What is the special? Is that saying their is a special rule on the rarity, or is there a special quality on the armour (and if so what)?
Thanks for sharing dude.
Can you please list all the new attachments? Weapon and armour etc (Or point me to the post where you did if I missed it ?)
Also are the Armour crafting rules from Keeping The Peace repeated? This would be the book if they were. If not then I wonder if no crafting rules will ever be repeated anywhere?

It's about rarity and that unmodified suits are the most uncommon essentially.
I'm currently away from the book, but will try to post more replies when I return home and retire for the evening.
There are no crafting rules in this book.
Can you spoil the new obligations for me, also what sort of regular gear is in the book?
