So, is the Protectorate/Fang a fighter with a crew of 1, or a shuttle with a crew of 2+ and room for passengers? Rebels seems to show the same ship but with different scales in different episodes, what I would consider a Sil 3 fighter in its early appearance AND a Sil 4 freighter-size vessel (see Imperial Supercommandoes episode and the episodes where Maul shows up flying one). Thank you very much for sharing all of this info with us!
Edited by SJansonI have "No Disintegrations". Questions?

You're talking about three different ships. The large ship that Darth mail and the Imperial Supercommandos use is one class of Shuttle, Duchess Satine uses a smaller unarmed shuttle in clone wars to go to Mandalore's moon (the modified shuttle from Friends Like These is this shuttle class).
The fang fighter is the ship that Fenn Ray and the protectors fly in Rebels and it's different from the previous two ships I mention. It's a smaller one man craft.

It's the small version. The fluff text describes the existence of the larger craft too, but it is not started up.
After picking up the book myself, I'm slightly disappointed that I can't wrist-mount either a flame projector or a grapnel-harpoon launcher, and that a micro-rocket launcher added to armor takes up so much space. Right now, I don't think I can really create effects that mimic what, say, Jango Fett has done, let alone what a bounty hunter is capable of in SWTOR.
I do like the section on how to create bounty-hunting escapades, though, and the exploits that go with it. That's good stuff.

Wait. You can't wrist mount them? Then what in the hell is the point? So all the wrist mounted stuff we see hunters like Jango, Boba or Cad Bane is still out of reach? Even Sabine from Rebels and ALL THE MANDALORIONS we've seen so far have that stuff.
Ffs, writers. You Had ONE JOB!

Yeah, both the grapnel-harpoon launcher and the micro-rocket launcher pistol have 0 hard points, so no wrist-mounting.
Tinkerer.

I was about to say the same thing!
You want to be boba fett? Well tinker it or find a outlaw tech that can! XD
Point being it can be done, it just can't be done easily by noobs, or everyone in the F-ing movies would have them....

Tinkerer only adds 1 hard point, and wrist-mounts require 2; Tinkerer could make a light flame projector wrist-mountable, but not the grapnel or micro-rocket launcher.
If you're using the wrist mount weapon attachment on the weapon, yes. If you're using the hands free armor attachment the weapon only needs 1 HP.

This. throw down the proper credits for integrating the equipment into the armour properly rather than a couple of straps holding it to your wrist
Between the wrist mount, Tinkerer, and armor attachment, a PC has plenty of options for having all manner of dangerous pointed zappy thingys protruding from them.....

Yes, well, I was hoping to wrist-mount a grapnel launcher or micro-rocket pistol, so I could reserve the hands-free weapons mount for a Jury-rigged big gun, like an ion disruptor or a rotary blaster cannon...
No, I don't believe in overkill, why do you ask?

Deathwatch must have made some wrench monkey rich getting all those wrist mounted weapons they've got.

Or they have some force sensitive artisans who keep repairing their stuff … intuitive improvements just blow my mind.

I somehow doubt that. We know Cad Bane killed a guy and took his toys, Boba (Legends) used his dad's stuff, but someone makes it, and a lot of it.
I'm just going to house rule it myself.
Could always just use the crafting rules. Have your party mechanic roll enough advantages or triumphs and get your equipment made with an extra HP or built with the item of choice already in it. Get enough advantages and one can make the blue prints for it. Rinse and repeat.
Is there any recommendations for bounty prices in the book? I'd be interested in that, I like having some hard rulings on the price of different things.
So what were those melee weapons, again?
Interesting to note, but in the full descriptions, the Precision Strike talents get more...precise as you climb the ladder.
Precision Strike can be used with any Brawl, Melee, or Lightsaber weapon;
Improved can be used with any Brawl or Melee weapon;
Supreme can only be used on unarmed attacks. I would personally allow that to apply to most Brawl weapons too, but technically it's only unarmed.

What does it say about Unarmed Parry? Does it specify unarmed, or can it work with Brawl weapons?

Wait, so you can only change the crit to any Hard crit if you're fighting with no weapons? It's easier to cut off a hand with your fist than it is with a Melee or Lightsaber weapon?
JUDO CHOP!

Thats very nice. Initially i thought it was very over powered even with the Strain cost, but that balances it nicely with risk vs reward.
That would explain how Chewbacca rips off Unkar's arm then. All Wookiees have the Precision Strike (Supreme) talent.
