Need advice on Rebel list

So as I have mentioned before, I'm not much of a rebel player, so any advice is welcome. I wanted to know if this fleet could be viable or if ( as I have mainly seen) rebels work better with more squadrons

I really like the idea behind this list a lot, but I think it may be difficult to pull off. It looks like you want to get up close with Defiance, drop four Y-wings in your opponent's lap, and then blow them away with a bunch of your favorite color of dice. In order to get the most use out of Sato, I would try to work a couple A-wings into your list. Especially Tycho. Obviously you'd have to drop some upgrades to fit that in.

I would also try to put Leading Shots on Defiance so you can re-roll any blanks on your red and black dice. To be honest, in a Sato list I would put Leading Shots on the Mon Karren too.

I can see what you are trying to do here but one immediate issue that you have is you have no squadron defense for your very slow ships. The Y-wings are 'Heavy' and so cannot stop squadrons from moving away from them or shooting at your ships even if engaged by them.

I would get rid of them and get 2 X-wings and 2 Z-95's, they can at least hold enemy squads and inflict some return damage.

I would drop Redundant Shields and replace them with Electronic Counter Measures or Redundant Blast Doors on the CC. I would also lose Rapid Launch Bays and get a Damage Control Officer, being able to negate any type of crit is gold on that bad boy.

Take Sato off of the Pelta and put him on the CC and change the Assault Concussion Missiles for Flechette Torpedoes, any little extra on the anti-squad will help here.

Drop the Ion Cannon Batteries on Star Cruiser for either Leading Shots or SW-7 Ions.

Finally, add Leading shots to the CC.

That changes your list effectiveness without totally gutting it.

My main objective was going as do as much burst as possible on capital ships, and this seems to focus a lot more on the anti-squadron aspect. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the idea, but I think it isn't really my playstyle

This list will still burst damage ships, but will mitigate the same thing from happening to you :-)
