Hi Guys. I forgot to check to see if the U-wing is the ship that has the mission in it. Is it that ship or the Bat-Wing? If it is the U-wing, has anyone tried it?

I thought all large base ships have missions in the box.

Have not played any of them.

Do they all? I hope so. Some of the new ones are really good. I really liked the one for the Ghost. The Imperial Vets one was also really fun.

If I remember correctly, the U-wing comes with a mission about hiding in an asteroid field. A pretty standard 100/6 except that each team gets to have a ship deploy from a token on a rock after a few rounds. I've not tried it but it was something along those lines, it didn't sound too fancy.

The Upsilon shuttle does not come with a mission. I thought I was overlooking it at first.

U-Wing comes with a mission - #20 - Patrol Ambush. I've got a thread I started last night asking if it was any good, and got a response from one person so far who said they had fun with it. It does look like an interesting twist on the 'death match' routine.

Patrol ambush worked out to be pretty fun. The imperials have to have 1 large based ship as part of their 100 points. Rebels take a prebuilt Heff and like 70 more points for their squad.

I made a doom shuttle and Royal Guard interceptors my son ran Heff, Garvin and I think Jake. It was a good time. I made the mistake of choosing an asteroid too close to his and too far from my forces. They killed Vader's shuttle and one of my interceptors.

Kids' squad building is always interesting. We never used Garvin before and he turned into a star.

I've always liked Garvin. He's pretty good with passing the Focus token around. Usually best with someone of lower PS than him.

Right, I remember now it wasn't Jake it was one of the other named A wing pilots that never gets used maybe Gemmer?

Gets an extra agility at range one from an enemy? Yeah... Gemmer isn't common, but I like using him... and he likes throwing four blanks on green dice for me...
