Assistance for new idea

By Darth Sanguis, in Star Wars: Armada

As many of you saw the Squadron Command Plate was a pretty big hit, those of you that didn't, it is designed to make squadron play more hands free. See:

With that said, several friends shared ideas to continue the trend of making gameplay less tedious, and I was hoping I could crowd source some info from people here on the forums. I'm away from my materials, and will be for at least half a day, if anyone would share with me the following it would be greatly appreciated.

-Length and Width of standard ship cards
-Length and Width of upgrade cards
-Diameter of command tokens
-ID/OD of command dials
-Length/Width/Angles of defense tokens
-Length and Width of ship tags
-ID/OD of the shield dial

What is your tape measure broken?

I'll measure all of the above for you with my micrometer for a free tray. :)

lol Nah, I'm at work and all my Armada stuff is at home, I've got some time today to make a 3D model, I just don't have anything to base them off.

I would encourage you to base your model off the FFG sleeves, rather than the measured cards.

Yellow sleeves (upgrades) are for cards sized 41x63 mm.

Grey sards (squadrons) are for cards sized 63.5x88 mm.

Orange sleeves (capitol ships) are for cards sized 70x120 mm.

Sadly, those are the sizes for the CARDS, not the actual sizes of the sleeves. So possibly make them an extra 5 mm in each dimension? Or I can measure my sleeves when I get home.

I wouldn't worry about it, if no one has this info already, I'll get it when I get home today. I was just hoping there may be someone on with this info already. lol
