Patience. I can't imagine an app for this game is a quick product to do.

At worlds the designers essentially confirmed that it's happening. So we just have to wait I guess.

There's currently a position open for an app developer, so I'm willing to bet that we haven't had any updates because that project is dead in the water for now. I hope I'm wrong though.

We already got "we are working on it, stop asking". Knowing FFG policies, the next time you'll hear something should be a product announcement. When that would be is anyone's guess. It's also possible we get another "we're working on it, stop asking" reply down the line.

I doubt that's the problem. They just released a new campaign for the Decent app. I think it just takes a long time to balance everything and play test it and work out technological kinks.

I think it also just has to do about a back log of production. They probably want to get through all of the planned content first, like wrapping up the OT with Endor in the summer. Then it would just be a great way for us to re use all of our existing stuff by releasing an app that utilizes all of the various pieces like they did with Descent (tutorial, full campaign with core components, re playable randomized dungeon crawler and then start with the expansion specific campaigns).

I expect the app to be out by Christmas, but that is just pure speculation.

As far as I'm aware it was only teased not announced, and then only with the offer of more information this year. For all we know we might only see an announcement by December.

Folk underestimate the amount of effort and testing that goes into software. And you can't just reskin the Descent app because the rules are different, and we don't know yet how they will implement it.

Pretty sure somewhere in all of the info we have received it was said that 2017 was the target. Obviously things change, but I remember hearing that or reading it somewhere.

They are adept at building apps at this point with Road To Legend and MoM 2ed both being such huge successes, so I have faith they are working diligently at it. It's the FFG style to just announce something without leaking info or any prelude, so out of the blue one day we will see it.

I know what you're saying. This happens a lot with video games where they announce a game that might actually be in the works but won't see the light of day for another year or two. It's a matter of trying to keep us hyped but in reality we expect the product sooner than they can deliver.

On a side note: I have talked to people that use the Descent app and they say it's great, so that gives me hope for what's to come with the IA app.

Many people on this board, myself included, have extensive experience with the Descent app and MoM 2nd edition, and great is an understatement : D

I feel like this is turning into Half Life 3.

Every time the app is mentioned it's actual arrival is postponed by another month.

Back on topic - I'm also eagerly awaiting this. My group's not keen on 1 vs many, but I think when the app can convert this into a coop, it will breathe new life into the game.

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but the rumor I hard from someone I trust (and who had been right in the past) said that FFG was trying to get it out by April.

Believe what you want, no skin off my back. Just repeating what I heard from someone in the industry. With FFG it'll probably be 3 months to 2 years late anyways.

I seriously doubt it will. It will probably be just like the Descent App, which is just a different way to play the game so that it's co-op, but it doesn't have any overlap with the normal campaign mode.

Which is why I'm actually not that thrilled about the App. I'll give it a try - but I enjoy playing the Imperial Player too much.

I like playing against a player as well, but the Delve mode is great for one-offs!

I just asked about app during live session with dice tower.on GAMA and the anser is possitive, they are.working on the app!

Unlike RTL and MoM, I imagine everything in this App needs to be approved by Disney/Lucasfilm, which would make for some serious slow-going with content...

EA may get their nose out of joint also, as they're the go to Star Wars "computer games" people
