Over the past weekend I attended two separate tournaments where I was running a transport, Neb-B W/Salvation and the MC80 BC. While it was great to see whatever I pointed at die. My exposed and weak flanks ultimately proved to be my downfall and the Neb-B got shredded too easily I felt. I took it to two tournaments over the weekend. In the 6 games I played in two days, I had 2 large losses (7-3's) two minor losses (6-4) and two minor victory's (6-4).

Not terrible considering they were my first tournaments and were only my 12th through 18th games of Armada I've ever played.

In order to beef up the flanks, gain more hull and not sacrifice too much damage, I dropped Salvation and picked up an MC80 Assault Cruiser.

Engine Techs on the AC so it can keep pace with the MC80 BC, and Nav team on the MC80 BC so it can yaw like an MC80AC.

Transport will be spamming all the tokens to the MC80's and Ahsoka Tano to pop Tokens into Nav Tokens depending on whats happening. I forsee a big need in either speeding up, or slowing down suddenly depending on what my opponent is attempting to do.

My goal is to attempt to deploy on one edge of the deployment side, with the MC80 AC taking the out lying flank and the MC80 BC on the inward. Gives me time to see how an opponent will attempt to face me.

Point my MC80 BC right at the biggest juiciest targets or group of targets and try and herd.

With this list, I'll be spamming Nav Commands likely for turns 1 - 3. Then depending on outcomes, preferably Confire on turns 4 and 5 with repair turn 6. Or confire turn 4, repair 5 and confire 6.

With trying to second guess if I need Nav Commands or not for turns 4-6 of course. When in doubt, Nav command out. I feel with the transport feeding tokens, I think that will be a huge help.

If The Opponent attempts to move towards the weak side, inward towards my table side, of the MC80 BC. I slow down the MC80 BC and swing the MC80 AC around it.

If The Opponent attempts to move towards the strong side to outpace my MC80 AC, then I slow down the MC80 AC, and speed up the MC80 BC to yaw it.

If the Opponent attempts to move straight at me, Keep the MC80 BC heading straight at them, while Yawing outwards the MC80 AC to get that side arc into play.

Keep the Transport behind the big boys and toss Squadron dice and if things go south, make a break for it.

The whole time Intel Officers on the same target (hopefully) and Mon Karren will force key defensive tokens to be stripped if I'm lucky to garb even at least one accuracy, two at best.

I had a list using Spinal on the MC80 BC and Enhanced Arm on the MC80 AC, however they are just expensive, so when I finally got my two DTT's, I swapped them for those, I feel that it is an EXCELLENT card for it's cost. Most times you add a dice to your pool and roll, almost always something is blank, so might as well toss the pool, see what shakes out, and then do a reroll pretty much.

While I would prefer another A-Wing, the only way to make that happen could be to drop Blast doors, and Bright hope. I can't afford to give up Teno when I know her ability will be needed for a sudden Nav Token.

A-wings and Bey are the best choice I feel for 'slowing" a bomber ball and Tycho is going to be how I get Sato's ability where I want it (hopefully).

So yeah, I don't quite know what Objectives to pick, but feel pretty good about this list.

Open to suggestions.

If you aren't using the second defensive slot on the MC80A switch to a MC80C version and save some points. Or drop an Intel officer (or Shara for an A-Wing) to afford ECM on the MC80A.

I would also suggest Xi-7's over Dual Turbolaser Turrets on the AC. Intel the Brace and Xi's shutdown redirect. That will push a lot of damage through.
