It's a trap!

Sorry, just having some more fun with photography of the game...

These ships are just so darn cool looking!

Was kicking around layouts that would work for a Facebook group banner - IMHO, this one came out too 'busy' to replace our current banner, which I'm pretty happy with...

...so...I guess if anyone else wants to use the new shot, feel free. Uhm, just cite the source (IE., link to the BGG page for it) or something, whatever.

I need a new banner for my blog...hint hint

That CR90 looks magnifique.

Too bad those ISD's are going to put a bruise on that peach.

every time i see ships LED'd I'm really tempted to find someone to LED my collection. That would also mean i finish my repaints.

Not LEDs, here, just external lighting for the shot.

(Took a pic of the setup on the clickthrough)

you can see the red and blue light also reflecting off the bases of the SDs. :)

LED first, the process of inserting the electronics can be...damaging.

Harrumph, sir! Harrumph, I say!

Trying to set up lighting to make a shot like that work is not easy. (I mean, sure, actually doing LEDs...especially on a CR90, which, like...how... Okay, sure, that's even more 'not easy', but...c'mon, now...)

Separate the halves, run fiber through the engines, put one LED in the AFT and have the wires go through the peg to a battery in the base?
I mean.
If I had to do it.

I've had this idea too, but not the impetus to try it (plus I haven't done fiber before).
