well i have a question about the ancient one Yig it said When Battle start each investigator become curse and if a investigator is curesed then is devour...

these effect is every turn or just at the beging and if its everyturn then ur able to buy blessed at the start of the battle...?

It says Start of Battle. If doesn't trigger every turn, just at the start of the battle. If you are blessed at the start of battle you will lose your blessing instead of being cursed.

You can only get blessings before the final battle though (unless you have the spell). You can't move on the board during final battle.

Just remember that you begin checking for this in the second upkeep phase. You never roll to lift a curse on the first upkeep after acquiring it.

****, just beat Yig the other night.....................and I forgot about the Curse thing. No wonder he was so easy.

When you're more privy to Yig, you can use the Church to bless investigators before he awakens, which will cancel out the Curses. Then you can whack away.

However, Yig gets a nasty boost in difficultymore so than most of his contemporarieswhen using the Epic Battle deck.
