Vinto's "rapid fire" forced attacks

By brettpkelly, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Vinto's rapid fire says "Perform 2 attacks". The rules of Hangar Bay (Greedo villain pack) are: figures can attack a "power cell" (health 5 defense 1). When a power cell matching the color of a player's deployment zone is destroyed, that player gains 6 victory points. If Vinto performs "rapid fire" and kills his target in one hit, then does not have another target besides a friendly power cell, by the current rules he MUST attack that power cell. This doesn't seem like the intent of the ability at all, but that is how it is worded. This isn't really a question more of a complaint/observation.

Interesting. Rules as written, you're probably right. It's inevitable that as the game expands there will be some curious and unintended issues like this. I wouldn't hold out for an FAQ. Common sense should prevail. Ie treat Vinto's ability as "may perform up to two attacks". Just my thoughts.

An aside... has anyone not realised Greedo's mission cards are printed upside down? Poor Greedo. Just can't seem to do anything right. At least he's cheap!

To repeat my joke from the original thread: Greedo's missions are Slow on the Draw, letting your opponent read the rules first.
