I'd be gleefully joyous if it was an adaptation of Scoundrels, but something showing how Han got the Falcon and/or met Chewie would be okay.
Just as long as there are no poncy shirts or daddy (real or substitute) issues.

Those books were so much fun, and they did nothing more than tell entertaining stories about two bad guys doing bad things in space.
Really hoping that Disney goes this way with the anthology movies. If you'll pardon my saying it, I feel they SHOULD feel a bit like fanfilms, and they SHOULD be niche. I don't expect to like all of them, and that's okay. Marvel movies are fun too, and they bridge all kinds of genre, but no-one has any reason to watch all of them unless they're really invested in the franchise. On that note, hopefully we won't get to a position of over-saturation and genre stagnation anytime soon, because that would be sad.
I have seen an awful lot of fan films that had more of the 'Star Wars feel' than some of the official movies did.
(looking at EP VII, here)
I really liked the feel of R1 as it hearkened back to the original trilogy for me, and I would definitely like less of the big Disney-powered blockbuster and MORE ACTUAL STORYTELLING!!!!!!!
