I played my first game using General Hux last night. I was very imperessed with him. Everyone is talking about Kylo crew and I think he will be strong but Hux is almost like a crew version of Attani Mindlink. The range restriction limits him somewhat compared to Mindlink but even with that he was very powerful. When combined with Major Striden's pilot ability the range restriction is not that bad. With Hux and Systems Officer on Striden you can give out three focus tokens and a target lock to any ship at range 1-3. Hux will definitely have at least some impact on the meta. Oh and the upsilon is the best ship in the wave hands down IMO.
First impression of General Hux
Yah, Hux is great, but there aren't any really standout platforms for him as yet, given that Imps have difficulty with crew ships clearing stress, and he can't go on a bomber shuttle.
The Upsilon is GREAT! I typically play rebels so I'm very used to the Ghost and U-Wing dial and the Upsilon dial is not much different. I never had a problem clearing the stress but keeping arc on something is a little difficult since most ships do not want to joust the UPS.

I've been meaning to ask- Where are the spoilers for Wave X from the people who got their hands on the early Wave X stuff? Google is just showing old clickbait.

Pretty much everything was in the preview articles but if there is something you want a picture of I will load that. I got mine online and they shipped early for some reason(not complaining at all).
I think the two things left are the PS 5 Quadjumper and the Upsilon's dial. Well, and zeb's cost, but that was pretty obviously going to be 13.
Well it won't let me upload pics because the file is to big. UPS dial was in the article but it's the Ghost dial with 0 replacing the 5k. PS 5 quad is Sarco Plank 18 points- when defending, instead of using your agility value, you may roll a number of defense dice equal to the speed of the maneuver you executed this round.
Roll defense equal to the speed you moved this round? Interesting move...but not for a quadjumper lol. Thats not gonna do much on a 3speed max ship

Ya I was a bit miffed by both of the things they were keeping hidden. Sarco's ability is pretty much garbage on the QJ (only matters on 3s, which there is no turn. So lost why the QJ was the ship they decided to put this ability on), and the UPS Shuttle dial is probably better than it ought to be... We will see though.

I'm guessing it's to give a slight defensive bonus while trying to get into range one. You aren't really paying much for Plank's ability. He's only a point more than Unkar Plutt for 2 points of pilot skill and an EPT slot. If you're bringing Plank, you are bringing him because you want a Quadjumper with an EPT slot. The Constable get's expensive because a bomb and the salvagr crane are almost needed if you want to use his ability.
Yeah, since we've known about Sarco's ability for a while, I've assumed it's not something you base building the ship or the list around, but a little bonus you can apply sometimes. Also, given that it says "instead of agility value", I think it means Sarco is free to ignore agility debuffs like Tractor tokens, assuming you've moved at least speed 2.
The decimator could be another option for hux with two other aces. Toss them focus give the deci focus + effect since it doesn't care about defense and two aces get a "free" focus token.
List I just thoughtup that I'm gonna try when I get my upsilon is
Stridan + hux +system officer + collision detector
Omega ace + swarm leader
Zeta leader + adaptability + comm relay
Epsilon squad pilot
Stridan gives his seagulls focus + a target lock and could even give himself a focus + condition card if in a good spot, Zeta leader gets to shoot first with 3 + focus +TL with an evade in the wings pretty sure to either waste an opponent's tokens or get a damage through, then Omega ace steps up with Focus(hux) + tl (from system officer) + another focus/evade( his own action) and pumps 4 crits into his target, Stridan then follows up with 4+ red with focus and fanatical devotion which if he rolls a focus at all is at least another 1 damage. Then you have an epsilon that goes "pew-pew im a tie!"

Dont think of him as a named pilot as much as the cheapest mindlink platform the quad has

*Derp* Really should have checked the squadron builders once I heard that people had spoiled the rest of the wave.
