Hello! I am looking for the Dice Font for Word. I tried the search function but haven't had luck. Thanks!
Dice Font for Word
I did find it... **** forgot what it's called... hold on BRB
back now scroll down until you find a link for the font
There's probably a half dozen threads about this in this forum, I'd suggest a search. Odd that it's not in the Compiled Resource Thread though. The name of the font is "EotE Symbol"
EDIT: might as well save everyone a search: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vhihmkb0jsipdtw/EotESymbol-Regular-PLUS.otf?dl=0

save some folks some time, move the link to my first post.
Speaking of which, does anyone know if the "EotE symbol" font has been updated with the new half-white/half-black Force point symbol that appeared in F&D? I'm using this one, and it only has pure black and pure white Force points (since the half-and-half ones weren't a thing when it was made).

I think someone did, I have that symbol available. I think I took a stab at it myself first but I'm not really a font artist.
I have two versions of the font installed. One is “EOTE Symbol”, and it does not have the half-and-half Force pip. The other is “EOTE_Symbol” (note that this one has an underbar character between the words, instead of a space), and it does have the half-and-half Force pip.
I’m not sure where I got the second one, but if you search for that name, you might find it.
EDIT: Here’s the post in question. It has a link to the OTF format file you need:
EDIT2: Specifically, it links to the following file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38611358/EotE_Symbol-Regular_v1.otf

That link seems to lead to the font I already have, and I don't see the half-and-half symbol there. What key is it on for you?

Using that font, it is mapped to Capital “F”. At least, for me.

Are you absolutely sure that's the one you're using? Because I just installed it, and there's no black-and-white symbol assigned to any key.
Try this one, the light/dark side is in there. I may or may not have edited this myself.

Huh... when I click the link I get a message saying that the page is not accessible for my account.

Not just you.

Weird, it worked when I clicked it. I don't see any permissions on the file or my profile that are obvious but I'll look. Perhaps it has been blocked per policy by the administrators.

Oops:
Now that's just peculiar. We have other threads with attachments, I wonder if this is a result of the upgrades. How about this zip file with the same font in it?
No go. The problem isn't the file type, it's that you've made it a forum attachment rather than a link to a cloud storage site. The recent software changes must have done something to the attachment system, perhaps wiping guest permissions. We already know it wiped out old signatures.

I suspected as much. I'm not wont to sign up for some malware-laden filesharing site that would provide adequate bandwidth for the demand. It's a 31k file, and I know better replacement exists out there already.
There are cloud sites that do not require sign ups. Then there are the two, quite safe, industry leaders: Microsoft's DropBox and Google Drive.
Turns out good ol' GM Hooly has your back:

For the master list i have been making I have been using the symbols provided by microsoft office as much as possible, it has the half half pip ? , as well as light side ? and dark side ? even has setbacks ⬛ which I color for boost dice ⬛ , just takes alittle looking and after you have inserted them once they will be in your most recently used symbols (although i just copy from elsewhere in my document)
this all being said if this post works you may even be able to copy from here... so fingers crossed
Edited by LMasterListSince Hooly didn't actually link to the font he found, I did some Googling to locate it here .
I've hit up the forum mods for an answer. If they're okay with me posting copyrighted material, I'll cloud this up somewhere nice and contribute it back to the Compiled Resources list with the proper attribution to the original author.

Except those depend on the viewer having the same font installed on their machine that you have on yours. And their version might look a bit different from what you see. Witness:

every computer i tested this on i had not encountered this problem until I looked at it on my phone, and thanks for bringing it to my attention, this being said the only real issue i see is the boost dice not being blue there, the rest still works =P
