For the past few years I've steered clear of the larger game companies because of bad past experiences. That said FFG has inticed me in because of their licensed Star Wars products. The games are fun enough but from the little I have observed there is a concerning lack of back and forth between the gamers and the company. Do any FFG employees besides moderators read these boards? Are there ever any panels or Q&As at conventions? (I've been to Gencon a few times and can't say as I've seen such things.) I apologize if these things have been discussed before.

They were at Star Wars Celebration Europe last year. There was a panel discussing the various Star Wars games, and I got to chat with Alex Davy (X-Wing developer) on the show floor and he was very approachable.

I haven't been to GenCon but FFG does their in-flight report there where they discuss business issues and upcoming products. You can find some of these on YouTube.
