Fun-Wing: Squirrely Squad

Fun-Wing: Not meant to be top tier competitive, but something people can bring to casual Xwing night to mix it up a bit, that can stand up to most casual lists, and more importantly be fun to fly!

I really love flying Snap, and just never found a nice squad for him. Biggs just holds his potential back, and other rebel pilots with abilities that are range restricted just tether Snap and this bird just needs to be set free. So I either wanted him paired with a Large base solo ship like Rey, or make a sort of trip aces rebel list. I didn't want more T-70s cause they can get burned down if focused on, and Snap is gonna leave his brethren in the dust. I needed more squirrely ships that can survive out in the unknown reaches of space by themselves, but also fast enough to regroup if in trouble.

Snap gets a PS boost with VI so he can carry Black One title. This is more for his survivability than squad mates. Tossing TLs from anyone under PS8 keeps him alive longer. He can boost to range 3 to kick in autothrusters, or boost to range 1 for the big shot. R5P9 allows him to get out of dodge a couple rounds and regen before coming back into the fight.

Jake is one of the most maneuverable and fun ships to fly in the game. He has been in many top rebel lists and has a proven track record of ducking and dodging. In todays meta, his two attack isn't much, but a lot of the ships these days rely on punching power over maneuvering, so he should be able to line up some nice range 1 shots on lower PS ships, and I really have him here for the 0/1 agility ships that are gonna get chewed up by him.

My third ship I was leaning toward Miranda + TLT, but that is not "fun". Super Miranda, oh yeah, but TLT Miranda? Meh. Then I was toying with Sabine + Predator + TLT + Chewie. She is fun and squirrely and chewie gives her a bit more meat on her bone. The TLT adds a new threat mechanic into the list as well but I needed an ace killer. If I come against Inquisitor, or Soontir, Jax, etc they can dance around Sabine and keep inside range 1 of her TLTs and with only 2 agility, even Soontirs weak offense can take her down. So that lead me to the bomber. Instant damage, that is what I needed. The Bomber can be squirrely and slam, drop some clusters, drop an ion bomb to force a no fly zone. Nobody likes bombers staring at them across the table, and that threat keeps the heat off Snap and Jake to flank. Went for clusters over conners because I needed the extra damage potential.
