I have been playing a bit of Greyjoy lately and a friend of my has been annoyed with Longship Victory. Can you guys give me a couple of cards that he could use to deal wit the location or get rid of it that are currently in the LCG format?

Dealing with locations
Well what house does he play? That would maybe help a bit more. If you want to look yourself though there is www.tzumainn.com/agot You can search the text box of cards in the lcg sets. I'll list a few cards that I think are pretty good ideas though. You can find the text over at tzumainn's site.
1.Bandit of Winter
2.War Horn
3.Veteran Marauder
4.The Price of War
5.Theon Greyjoy
There might be a few more, but those seem like the best bet.
He is playing Martell and Lannister.
Then you want Condemned by the Council or The Price of War.
Pyromancer's Apprentice could be an option, too.
Wow those will fit the bill fine.
Mainn's site is great for looking up particular cards and building decks, but if you don't know what you're exactly looking for, this site is better in that you can skim a full spoiler list on the page (and do some filtering to make the list more focused), whereas on Mainn's site you have to click on every card individually to read its text.

I agree with you completely. I can click on every card and read them but search function isn't good for looking for cards with certain game effects. That other site definitely gives more specific search options. I still wouldn't know how to use that to search for cards that get rid of or deal with locations. I realize based on the way that cards are worded for this game that it's tough to make a good engine to find cards by. I am used to using this type of search function. magiccards.info/search.html If I want to find anything I can just type the word into the field and find any instance of that word. I'm sure that I after I play for a couple of months getting the cards down will be easier. I am just trying to speed up the learning curve a bit. Thanks for the second link though that will be helpful.

I'm not sure if it's possible to search for multiple words at once on Rogue30's site (LetsGoRed gave the link above), but you can search using "%" to represent any number of characters. So searching for "location%discard" in the ability box will find all cards with the word "location" followed by "discard" with any number of words in between in their text boxes. To find all the words with both "location" and "discard" in their text boxes you'd need to search for both "location%discard" and "discard%location" and look at both sets of results.
Obviously that won't get quite everything because there are still cards like Veteran Marauder that control locations in different ways, but it's an improvement over searching for one word or phrase at a time....
Your right I just tried that and it worked pretty well. Even getting a good base search for this type of questions is great. I am sure other cards will deal wit htis problem but the ones that pop up outside this search may be too situational for me to want to use. Thanks a ton. This community gets better by the second.
