I guess you are doing the rebel insignia by freehand? Thats some pretty dope work.

Also the glow effect on the transport is spectacular. In your shot the one in the foreground really looks like its lit.

Thank you! I freehand the insignia because I'm too lazy to find a better way lol.

Is there a better way? I'd love similar results on mine, but I don't have the tiny skills to freehand that. You should see me paint eyes. Shudder.

You can try a small template, but they often work best with sprays or airs instead of brushwork - but it can work.

Generally, when paitning small insignia (rebel or empire), I start with a circle - generally painted on a small piece of tubing of the appropriate size, and press it to the model... Its a circle for the mpire, or a semicircle for the rebels, and then start in-filling that with the design.
