Upgrading Droids

By kelpie, in Game Masters

Hi everyone

PC Tech in my game is a master droid crafter; she built a couple of worker/support droid to assist her, but most important is the security droid she use as bodyguard, main weapon asset and "thug" wingman (well... wingdroid).
She's aware she has to craft many different prototype chassis and roll enough advantage to create blueprint, until she could create a better droid

However, she asked me if there is a way to upgrade the skill of a droid without the need of re-program it.

I found the idea of upgrading the droid more appealing than having a lot of droid haging around

so, there is some rule or house rule about upgrading droid (or NPC) skill?

As usually with droid upgrades, the answer is cybernetics and internalized gear.

Have them craft gadgets or cybernetic implants. Assign Difficulty you deem appropriate.
