yeah this is literally the first forum ive been on that didnt allow custom avatars. And i have no idea why its "so difficult" for them to manage it.

Im just waiting for them to rip mine away, since i set it up before they took the button away.

For me there's also a Pokemon forum and Paizo(makers of Pathfinder). But both of those forums also have literally thousands of Avatars to choose from. As opposed to the couple hundred they have here.

But yeah, like 95% of the forums I use regularly just let the users choose their Avatars.

Not sure if they would do it. Some of the "dinosaurs" on this board who have been around for eons , and got a custom avatar while this was possible long ago, were allowed to keep them (same with the later disabled custom text feature above the avatar pic).

Sure, add that feature, but dont stop them from FIXING the old forum design theme first! This is still SUPER BRIGHT AND UGLY

Well, the old titles are still around, right? If none of us custom avatar people have anything offensive they might just not care.

The problem to allow custom avatars is not a technical issue, but a moderating issue: they will have much more work to keep offensive images out.
