When the Shadow Caster title is used to give an enemy a tractor beam token, does this also causes a boost or barrel roll to the ship?

It triggers the usual effect of receiving a Tractor Beam token, so yes, the owner of the Caster may boost or barrel roll the enemy ship if she so desires.

Only if it's that ship's first tractor beam token. Otherwise, it doesn't cause the TB movement effect and only reduces the target's agility value by one.
