That's not what I prefer but it's your game Tramp, I'm just the GM currently.

"I've got a bad feeling about this"

It's all our game. No puppet GMing allowed. Tramp even said so himself.

Hey. I don't really know what's going on right now, because I basically had an abrupt emotional breakdown and vanished off the face of the forums as a result, but I'm doing a lot better now and I wanted to poke my nose in to say that I hope things are going well for y'all. :)

Sorry to hear that. Glad you're feeling better. I'm sure it's not too late to deal you in.

Yes, please, we need you.?

Is this still open? I'm thinking of bringing my GCW era bounty hunter up to a 1500xp "Master" with no force sensitivity for this, with a successor he's training that may be force sensitive.

Yea, send character info to Tramp and jump in!

Yes, that would be fine. However, your second character should have no relation at all to your "signature" character. Your starting character will ultimately be trained by another player's character, while your Master level character will train another player's starting character (most likely, you'll take over the Bounty Hunter training of Matt Skywalker's Starting character, Chundarr, since that character is also a non Force user). If your Master level character is going to be a non-force sensitive, EotE character, I'm asking that your Starting character have a Force & Destiny career. We need to have at least as many starting level Force users as there are"Master" level Jedi, if not more than them.

Finished up my master character in Oggdude's builder.

Equipment list is a bit long, but he's got multiple loadouts, for situations where walking around in jetpack and power armor with a huge gun would be gauche and counter productive.

He's got a non-hyper-capable shuttle to keep his stuff in that can be docked with whatever our main ship is.

character "Legacy" stats can be found here: http://www.thezteam.org/wiki/Jarash

I've got his "master" stats uploaded to imgur here: http://imgur.com/gIpcw8D

Post it up on swsheets.com. You'll also need an orokos.com account for dice rolling.

And, FYI, This is the ship.

Nice! PM Tramp and he will tell you how/where you can introduce your characters and how they fit into the greater storyline.

They look good, but there are a couple of corrections needed. First, on your starting Force User character's sheet, you need to switch it over to F&D , not EotE. All you need to do is click edit, then in the "System" box, select Force and Destiny . This will also change the Obligations box to a Morality box. As an F&D character, Tovera has a default starting Morality of 50 . You then have a choice between four options:

  • Raise or lower your starting Morality from 50 to either 71 (Light Side Paragon) or 29 (Dark Sider). Since this is predominantly revolving around Jedi I would not recommend going Dark Sider, but it's your choice.
  • Stay at 50 Morality but gain 10 extra starting XP.
  • Stay at 50 Morality and gain 2500 extra starting credits.
  • stay at 50 Morality and gain 5 extra starting XP and 1000 extra starting credits.

Secondly, for your Bounty Hunter, you need to give him his Obligation score and what his specific Obligation is, while your staring character needs his Morality score and Emotional Strengths and weaknesses. They also both need Motivations, descriptions, and Backgrounds. You might also think about buying some more gear for your starting character. Are the Vibro knuckles all you wanted for him/her? Given that it's a Selonian, am I to conclude that Tovera is a sterile female?

For your Bounty Hunter, He does need his Obligation (Whether from table 2-1 in the EotE Core Rules , or table 1-1 from No Disintegrations , your choice), and its level, listed. You can use whatever his original Obligation was where you left off, or go with the base 20 (For two EotE characters in the group).

i'm talking to you via PM , but seeing this isnt 21 players too much ? i mean i think the ideal is a group of 5 or 6 at max.. 21 will be very confunsing.. at least from my D&D experiences and opinion..

Yea, THAT's what you noticed. Not anything else.

Characters are updated.

21 + characters , not players . I'd like about 5 -7 players.

Looks good so far. I see you've stuck with the base 50 Morality for Tovera. Did you want +10 starting XP, +2500 starting credits, or +5 starting XP and +1000 starting credits? take your pick.

Already spent.

Which one did you take? I'm guessing the +2500 extra credits? If so, you should have a lot more than 400 left over. You should have about 1275 left.

Actually I would prefer all new characters to start on Concordia. That way we can all meet up faster.

Quick question for everyone. I'm thinking of making a quick tweak to the Jedi Star's modifications. As it stands it currently stands, the ship has a combined Armory (from Desperate Allies ) Workshop ( Special Modifications ). I'm thinking of switching those out for the Lightsaber Workshop from the Crucible from Disciples of Harmony .

These are the current stats for the workshop:

Quote
lightsaber construction workshop
Base Modifiers
Skill Focus (Mechanics): with added tools for Lightsaber construction, Right Tools for the Job, 20 Ecn space for equipment, tools, and parts
Hard Points
0
Modifications
Comforts, Reclamation, Spare Parts
Armory
Base Modifiers
store of weapons and armor; Mechanics checks for modifying and repairing weapons at no penalty,; weapons and equipment stock of modified rarity 5 or lower (higher with GM's discretion)
Hard Points
0
Modifications

Whereas the Lightsaber Workshop from the Crucible has the following rules for it's lightsaber workshops:

Quote

The interior of the Crucible was said to have contained several extensive workshops. Younglings spent time in these workshops constructing and repairing their lightsabers, as well as learning other lessons involving maintenance and invention. When making Mechanics checks aboard the Crucible, the PCs always count as having the right tools for the job (see page 181 of the Force and Destiny Core Rulebook). In addition, once per session, each character aboard the ship may make a Hard Perception check, if successful, they find one part for constructing a lightsaber worth 1,000 credits or less (the description of the part is up to the GM, but should be exotic, antique or otherwise distinctive).

Another option is to scrapp the armory, and replace the Spare Parts option in the Workshop with the special "Perception Check for unique lightsaber parts" rule from the Crucible . What do you guys think?

I spent 85 XP. Selonians only get 80. I included rolled credits.

I just rechecked Desperate Allies, I did not see an Armory starship modification- because I wanted one for my Master character's shuttle. Nor did I see it in Forged for Battle, Strongholds of Resistance, or Lead by Example.

If you can figure out what book it's in, I can take the armory, and the main ship can have a Lightsaber Workshop.

The Armory is from creating bases , along with the Library and training facility (the dojo) on pages 88-89 of Desperate Allies . It was suggested to me by Richard Buxton when I was first converting the ship to use those. With Disciples of Harmony out including the Crucible, (with it's special rules for lightsaber workshops), it seems more appropriate than the armory/workshop combo.

Then you should have only 175 credits left after buying your gear.

500c (base creds) +1000c (morality) +75c (credit roll) - 350c (weapon) -300c (armor) -450c (anti grav) -75c (misc) =400c

How do you figure 175c?
