A prison break wouldn't really work, as all of the "Masters" (or at least most of them) are expected to be survivors of the Massacre of Luke's Jedi academy because they were not there when it went down. There were no prisoners taken in that event. We could have a group of them hiding together for Korath to find in the first session, or even two or three groups, and even do something similar with the starting characters, but a prison escape doesn't really work. The whole impetus for them finally coming out of hiding, after all, is Luke being found and the Force being awakened Ala Force Vision). And, Korath, by nature, survived because he is an itinerant Jedi constantly on the move from system to system. And given that Avalon's Master level character (whichever one he chooses) is apparently not going to be a Force user at all, then, obviously, he would need to be found separately. And, given our differing backgrounds, how likely is it that they would all have previously met? That was why I figured we would need to start out everyone separate unless those characters do already know each other from previous campaigns.
My thoughts, however, were actually, have everybody doing different things in game through "cut scenes" like we see in the movies until we get everyone together, not simply waiting in limbo.
And Absol, the apprentices all need to be brand new characters.
