TIE Reaper

By Pleugim, in X-Wing

Just saw the TIE Reaper release on SW: Galaxy of Heroes and got my creative juices flowing... I'm thinking:

Some sort of meld between TIE Striker and TIE Bomber (shuttle)

Striker Dial but...hard 1 becomes hard 3...Green 1 bank goes white and 2 bank goes green... 2 sloop becomes 3 sloop... 2 k becomes 3 k...add a 4 forward...

Base PS 1 Ship:
20 pts - ATK 3 - DEF 2 - HUL 5 - SHI - 0. 1 crew, 1 system

I'd like it - largely because I'm trying to learn to use strikers, and the three uniques with a support shuttle is a nice idea. If the shuttle can be a TIE reaper they can logically be expected to be escorting, so much the better.

I agree on single crew and no ailerons - unlike a striker they're clearly not moving. 3 dice is probably important to distinguish it from the TIE shuttle, but the better a combat unit you make it, the less sense it makes - as noted, it's a dropship and got a striker escort for a reason.

I just want to say that "TIE Reaper" is ENTIRELY too badass a name to waste on a troop transport.

This. ^

I want the Reaper so badly. It would be nice to see another ship help tie in the Striker to the Imperials since it's design seems so much different than most other TIE variants (besides the TAP).

Plus, I would love to see a combat capable crew carrying small based Imperial ship besides the Phantom.

I'd probably go for something like 3/2/5/2 (assuming it has shields in canon, else 3/2/8/0, 1 crew slot, and a TIE Reaper or TIE Striker Only title that adds another crew slot and at least one bomb slot, allowing the Striker to take a title instead of Ailerons that gives it its canon crew capacity and bomb slot. I'd call it Orbital Operations or something.

Cost would be somewhere around 20 with a good dial, and the title costing at least another 1.

Gives Imps something to cart Hux around in that can actually contribute, or a different crew bus, and gives the Striker some more capabilities and design space.
