When the heros arrives to the final battle vs the Avatar, the rulebook says that we have to discard all the overlord cards and put the deck away (And the monsters). Do we have to discart the power cards? (Like the one that give an extra power dice to all the monsters?)

Yes. I'm not sure where this is, but I'm pretty sure this is the case.
