Title says it all. Is the blue background still an option?

Not at this time it seems although maybe there is a bit more gray than there was before.

Then again maybe it's just because it's daylight now that I don't get the blinding white as much.

I'm having some issues with the grey on light grey on white. It's not exactly the easiest colour palette to read for me. I'd like something with a darker and higher contrast for some of the text.

Seriously Weather channel was not calling for a blizzard and white out!

all joking aside, god almighty coming from a guy who is laid up due to another concussion, I can not tolerate the how freaking bright the new setup is

Sharp and bright colors arent good for the eyes. Theres a reason all the digital reading platforms use dark backgrounds.

I really dont know whats with web design and bleach white. Almost every website has it these days.

A lot of people have been complaining about this.

When the new forum went live, there was an option to change theme at the bottom of the pages, but both of the themes there were the blinding white.

That link is now gone it seems.

My my hope is that they have disabled the ability to change themes temporarily while they re create the darker blue theme, and then it will come back.

Well when you use a sharp, royal blue it isnt any better lol.

I thought something had failed to load when I loaded up the page at first... Then I remembered that they had written about migrating accounts or somesuch and it clicked.

While I like slim and sleek design, this is way too bright for me xD

This will not be compatible cause I can't find my blasted WindowsNT install floppy disks

For us color blind people it makes a huge difference. I want the old one too

Another vote for the old blue style.... lot less strain on the old peepers

I would prefer a night mode so it would be easier to read a lot of text, so I end up using a chrome extension to do that called Dark Reader.

It makes it more relaxing reading these forums

It's really bad. I have to use night shift on my phone to do it.

You don't heck the option to go to the asmode white theme is gone. Vs the FFG white with grey logo.

It appears the site is still in flux, so it's return is possible! There was an option to select different themes at the bottom that was removed - so the classic theme may be under development until reinstated.

I just hope to hell they bring back the dark theme.
