I've just started playing this game so I'm not sure if this is a bug: I played for Cycle of Eternity awhile and saved my game. When I returned they next day, all of the barricade tokens that had been placed were missing from the rooms. I hadn't used them the day before. Should I still see them?

The app also had me place a common item card in a room. Should I see any indicator for that afterward? I thought in this case, once it shows you where to place it, there is no lasting indicator, but I'm not sure.

The app never remembers locations/presence of either barricades or items. It will only indicate their placement.

Barricades can be destroyed without the app knowing, and items picked up, discarded, etc., without the app keeping track.

So - it's not a bug, it's a feature.

Yes, this is actually one of the reasons you should take a picture of the board before you do a tear down, that way everything goes back where it belongs. Even going as far as to take pictures of each players card sets so that possessions and statuses aren't mixed up.
