My vote is for a YT 2000/2400, if we go Sil 4. Sil 5, my vote is for a VCX.

Most of the other PbPs I've seen around here use this site, and use http://orokos.com/roll/ to handle the rolling.

I vote for the yt 2000/2400, the reason is I finished my character and he is a chagrian strategist since this gives us a knowledge specialist with a character who could have a high computers skill for any slicing we may need. Finally where do I post the character sheet at?

Well I'll be pretty slicey too so feel free to diversify, however it'll probably be something we do often so having two ain't bad

I'm happy playing here, but I have an account at mythweavers and RPG.net so anything goes. If we make it here I suggest either the AoR forum since it's lower traffic, or one of the begginer Game forums.

So this could be our initial setup:

Wayfarer (120,000 cr) with a small starfighter clamped to the outside (possibly a Z-95 since it's cheap)

Instead of the starfighter we could have a smaller planetary vehicle though, something to get around on the ground with when we need to. Then get the fighter later on.

A turret mounted Ion Cannon would be nice too, something to offer the wayfarer a bit of extra protection.

I don't have a preference as to the type of ship, but I think a ground vehicle is a good idea, then we could land on a planet (or crash, you never know) and still get places quickly. Depending on how military we want it to be we could go with either the Arrow-23 Landspeeder (from Forged in Battle), which can come with or without a weapon, or the LAVR QH-7 Chariot Command Speeder (from Lead by Example) which has a light laser cannon. Both of them can carry the whole team and more (plus at least two hard points each). We could also go with another one I haven't suggested, but these two seemed like good candidates.

I actually like posting on here, because i think others might actually read it, if not i think we should story-tize it and post it here like the annual pigeon series which i really take as our bar to reach in terms of character development and story. If anyone hasn't read it its on this forum, you really should.

Other options mentioned is rpg.net which i also have an account on, or we could do giant in the playground, or gamers plane

My vote is for a vcx-100 freighter with or without a fighter or swoop (unless someone gets the no disintegrations spec for the yv-666 in the next few days, then its that...)

2nd we steal whatever the hell we want, then steal something even better, and a swoop, or two, or 3 or.... muuwhahahaha!

My vote:

VCX-100 from KtP(Silhouette 5 so we can fit a hanger later on for rapid deployment)

Arrow-23 from FiB (without the weapons so we have something to work towards)

1st: VCX-100 with a speeder (either Arrow-23 or another)

2nd: 3 Y-wings(since there's 5 of us)

3rd: something sil. 4, YT-2400 probably.

even if we opt for the vcx-100 and whatever, could we still ship jack it? It feels only right that would should acquire our home the right way, the way any honest to goodness shipjacker does, and thats by stealing it... maybe from some big bloated shipping corporation... maybe something from a CORSEC supplier?

If you wish I can present a target to ship jack in your first adventure instead of starting with a ship...

We could start with the ground vehicle, perhaps at the end of our last mission. Buildings exploding behind us as we make a run for it with bad guys in hot pursuit.

Ill purpose, the face, echo, and liaison put together a strike force for an important reason. In order to complete it we need to break out Shard out of Hutt slavery, the leader out of a prison camp. And we need a ship so we steal that too.

Or something like that.

My votes:

1. VCX, since we seem to be going Sil 5. Speeder instead of fighter, steal or buy the fighter later. (Not picky about the model of speeder)

2. Use the AoR forums, with an OOC thread and IC thread (check the FaD forums, I think there's a game or two being run there that we can use as a model) and use http://orokos.com/roll/ for rolls.

so in some way shape or form i think the Vcx seems to be in the lead, but I'm still hoping the ship details from no disintegrations make it out soon... but we need goals anyway!

We could use the AoR beginner forum, it has a very low traffic rate. I don't have accounts on any RPG sites, but I'm not opposed to making one. So where ever we decide is fine with me.

Do we have everything you need, Keshalyi? If so, I'd say go ahead and make the OOC/IC threads on the AoR forum and we'll continue there!
