What the hell. I guess somewhere in the long forgotten mists of time I had used Kabong - perhaps as the Days-Of-Wonder log-in. But hey - lets migrate everything and screw with the accounts. And of course now trying to change my name back to Desslok, it says that the name is unavailable. Well duh, it's my old nym and I'd kind of like it back.

Sigh.

So, does anyone have the email of the tech support guys, someone I can mail to get this straightened out?

Yeah, I've been through all the profile options and I can't find it anywhere. Looks like it's gone - at least for now. It sounds like the migration isn't quite done yet.

Hopefully it's still in progress which is why the performance is so poor.

Funny how the announcement at the top doesn't say a derned thing about the forum software changing.

The slowness is likely due to the massive re-indexing that's going on, they did mention that.

My concern is that, although I mostly used my phone, I hate, with the burning passion of 10,000 suns, the mobile version of sites.

Has anyone found a way to force your phone to display the desktop version? If not, I may just leave out of pure frustration. That's how much mobile versions of forums bother me.

my phone i can click a checkbox that says "request desktop site" and it does it... dont know what mobile your using but if its android check the 3 dots on the top right of the screen

Seems to be gone. It will be missed.

From what I can see, that hasn't changed. Just click the star or circle next to the thread name.

There's now a blue line below the last post you read. Not sure if it's there on the mobile version.

Oh hey, there is! That's nifty!

• I only see two themes at the bottom and neither is what I want.
• I can't see which subforums have unread links from the main page probably due to color changes. Better now. Was it me switching theme or was there a change?
• Can barely read forum title, light gray on white. Better now. Was it me switching theme or was there a change?
• My signature is gone (looked in my settings, yep it's been cleared). No signature at all?
• Friends/followers list cleared, empty.
• Avatars look like they reverted to their 1977 version.
• I can't see how many likes my own post has gotten. I can see someone liked something in notifications up top, but have no idea who it was. Likes are visible now.
• A pirate has much, much better reputation then me.

When I first joined, seemed as if clicking that resulted in me "following" the thread, so I went to using the far clunkier link on the first page of a thread. You just saved me some clicks going forward.
