That's odd. I do the same thing and I just get a list of games none of them have any profile pictures to choose from.

I don't think it's under account settings. It is under "Notification Settings" up near the top.

I'm not sure if they had all these same options on the old board for getting notifications. It looks like you can set certain events to notify you in the board, send you an email, or both.
I see a thing about being mentioned in a post and it appeared to be on by default. I've seen my username show up in a few posts in this thread but did not see a corresponding notification. Is there something special that you need to do to "mention" someone?

In regard to the dual-browser-for-likes work-around and inconsistent notifications, the site is almost certainly still being configured and debugged. I'm sure, eventually, there will be a more polished version of everything we're seeing.
But you can't polish ****.

When I click on the file it downloads for me. I'll see if there is some sort of permission setting around for it.

True, my little red pop up number isn't filling with posts to threads I'm following, only posts where I've been quoted so far.
I went to the Regionals results thread, which I had replied in before the switch, to see what I could do about getting notifications from it again. At the bottom of the thread is a "Follow"/"Following" bug that was not set to following. So I clicked it. It brought up a dialog box asking how I wanted to be notified, with emails set as the default option. There was a link to follow to change this option and remove the email part
I hope I don't have to go thru this drill on every **** thread I post to.
So far, EVERYTHING about this new forum is turning out to be a subtle (or not-so) disincentive for me actually replying to a thread.
