Would a lightsaber modified to have a Crit Rating of 1, and also the Superior Hilt Personalization (Superior Quality generates automatic advantage), achieve a Critical roll on any successful attack?

No, because the negative dice could result in a net zero or negative advantage/threat result, it just gives a better chance of a positive result.

And a critical is not the only way to spend an Advantage either.

Thank you both for your replies- I am relatively new to the narrative dice, and have a limited pool of experience to draw from.

Also, I believe that you still need to cause at least 1 Wound to be able to cause a Critical (though with Breach, I'm sure Sabers have little trouble achieving that )
