I was always of the mindset I would rather spend my money on the game not the terrain, the fact that this comes with terrain as templates is good enough for me.

Some of us like 3d terrain with our 3d figures!
I guess it may give us some use for the terrain pieces from Warhammer Diskwars...

nothing wrong with that! I just use 3d terrain at stores I play at usually. Though with this I may model some terrain.
looking at building a "ruined seaside town" for "the Other Side" (malifaux mass battle game) and most it it can do double duty as terrain for Rune Wars.
