Having a huge ship advantage almost every game is nice raiders can stop alot of squad builds send them out in from. if they has lots of fighters glad can help made it a class 2. Have played it twice won both matches. once against a 100 pt rhymer ball with some uniques and once agaist a rebel build with 6 yt 2400s.... flachettes helped hold them for sure. If you needed a lower bid you could drop kallus and medical team....build obviously like to be player 1

i wonder if dropping the Arquitens for your own squadrons would be ok, also what do you think of replacing the Gladiator with a VSD I or Interdictor?

I think that for a no squadron build you lack either speed (I strongly believe that MSU fleets that down rely on the high hull values to survive should use mainly speed 4 ships) or hull and antiship threats. Once the Demo is down or forced out of the battle you may find yourself lacking the firepower to continue the battle.

Also this fleet will struggle a lot as a second player.
