Your list come closest to my NPE list, which is very short. The attitude of the player across from me. That's it.

I've been tabled by some players and still enjoyed the game. Laughed at absurd dice rolls and second guessing myself into poor movement decisions. I've won games that were worse than a bad day at work. All because of the player opposite.

A game of X-Wing is NPE if it's been played Post Wave 8. Whether it's been Triple Torp Scouts, Dengaroo, Palp Aces, X7s, Parattani, or Sabine-Ks, games of X-Wing just aren't nearly as fun. Sure, Waves 1-7 had their own dominant list archetypes and stuff, but even a creative 'meh' list back in Wave 5 had a much better chance against the dominant list of the day than a list would have now. Lists have just gotten so good, and the skill ceilings so low, that it's run top-tier **** or GTFO.

I don't know about that, at their prime Phantoms and Fat Han were pretty solid roadblocks for a lot of squads competively.
