i have a rules question.

Each time a monster adjacent to you is defeated, recover 1 heart or 1 fatigue.
Exhaust this card when you suffer damage equal to your Health, before you are knocked out. Immediately perform an attack. If the target is defeated, recover 1 heart.

How does this interact with Avrics: Each hero within 3 spaces of you (including yourself) gains "surge: Recover 1 heart" on all attack rolls."

Can Battlemage with Death Siphon simply use a Surge to be not knocked out?

Since the Skill says BEFORE you are knocked out, i think Avrics skill will work.

I am curious about your rulings on this.

I would say Avric's Skill still works, however if the Monster is not defeated the Hero is still knocked out. I heard that Ispher can regenerate even when knocked out, but still needs to be revived or stand up to continue.

Yes, nothing prevents the use of the effect supplied by Avric's Hero ability during the attack granted by Death Siphon. A battlemage with Death Siphon would be significantly harder to defeat as long as Avric is within 3 spaces and alive.

On Ispher's Hero ability: No, he does not automatically regenerate 2 hearts if he is knocked out at the start of his turn. In fact, a knocked out hero may not use any ability or benefit from passive abilities unless the ability explicitly allows it.

I see, I thought I heard he did regenerate. Glad I know that for future reference. On a side note. How many times can H&M Collection Elder Mok recover?

5 Times, once during each turn (4x heroes, 1x OL)
