Could the next episode contain possible ships and upgrades? (Maybe little mandalorians on Armada fighter stands? Mandolorian swarm?
)
But seriously, maybe phantom 2, mando epic, Fenn Rau crew?

They have a break again?
Yeah a month long break.
I'm sad. REALLLLLLLY want to just binge a full season at a time with this show.
I don't know how TV schedules are planned out, but why another break? They literally just had one.
Winter break into three episodes into month long break. Why?
Probably something to do with production scheduling. Animation is expensive and time-consuming to do (well, 3D animating), and while Rebels is popular and I'm sure has a robust budget, it can't be as robust as TCW because Lucas sunk a very large amount of his personal money into those episodes. So, if they need to render a bunch of new models at once, or they have to work around a VAs schedule or any number of other hiccups. It could be sudden, or maybe some part of the production has something else going on so they scheduled this block out. TV is a complex business - I'd be hard to say what is the stop without popping into their studio and grabbing a guy to ask him. Heck, it might even just be that they have ratings numbers or whatever that says people watch less Rebels in this time period so they can take a break and have a more relaxed process. Who knows?
Winter break is kind of important, there's, y'know, some holidays in there, some which are associated with family and travel and stuff. People don't really get work done during that period.
Reruns. Always been this way.
Reruns. Always been this way.
Well, re-runs aren't the cause of the break, more a result.
But yes, this has often been the case, just more shows/networks announce that they're having a break now, instead of letting you get surprised by re-runs.
Reruns. Always been this way.
Actually, it used to be very different.
Used to be that new shows premiered in the fall and then ran basically continuously every week until the season was done (22 episodes, sometimes 26) then went on a months long hiatus over summer which would get reruns because everyone was out doing stuff during the nice months.
Mid season breaks, variable length seasons, variable premier times. That is all a fairly new phenomena in US TV, brought on by cable and accelerated by streaming services, DVD/BluRay, and British import TV like Doctor Who.
