Enjoy..

Love watching vader/raider lose heh Cunning is some sick stuff I'm glad I popped for a double of that recently, very good card. Electroshock as well seemed pretty vital, if it rolls perfect V/R might be tough but good control just ***** that team because you can afford to single out Vader going all in to kill him as quick as possible. Good watch thanks for posting that.

It takes a great person to allow a losing game to be show like this. Props to both players for a keenly contested match.

Where in the rules does it say that you can just discard cards from your hand?

They said that you cannot play kylo Ren's lightsaber on the tusken Raider, but Sith holocron says switch this upgrade with a blue ability upgrade in your hand ignoring the player restrictions. The way I understand that is I could have to sit holocron on Darth Vader use it and still equip kylo Ren's lightsaber on the tusken Raider because I'm ignoring all play restrictions

Holocron allows blue abilities, such as force throw and Force Choke, to be added to the equipped character. However, it cannot be used to add blue weapons, such as lightsabers, to any character.

Additionally, the rules for the refresh phase allow you to discard any number of cards from your hand. You could also throw cards mid turn to re-roll 'any number of dice' and then choose none. But you couldn't toss more than one card at a time for that purpose.

At just after 50:00 the Vader player discards 3 cards then moments later keeps playing. It wasn't end of turn. And ignore all restrictions means just that including the color

I have been wrong before, but ignore all means all as far as I know. Just because people haven't seen that potential doesn't mean it doesn't exist unless I missed a ruling somewhere

I don't think you can choose 'none' for a discard to re-roll.

The other player forced him to discard 3 cards with the Millenium Falcon Die.

You can't just discard a card during your turn, you need to reroll at least one die.

Correct, the rules actually say to reroll one or more dice.

You are ignoring play restrictions only when you are actually using the Sith Holocron.

What does the Sith Holocron actually do:

Special : Switch this upgrade (Sith Holocron) with a blue ability upgrade in your hand, ignoring its play restrictions.

Kylo Ren's Lightsaber is a blue weapon upgrade, so you can't switch it with the Sith Holocron since it's not a blue ability . You ignore play restricitons only when you resolve the Sith Holocron special, it's not because one character have a Sith Holocron that suddenly you can ignore all restricitons and play any upgrade on anyone. I really don't see what could make you think otherwise, it's pretty clear that it is only when resolving the special and affect only the character with the Holocron.

Isn't blue character only a restriction? I'm just trying to understand. Not trying to argue, just need some help because it does say ignore all.

Yes, that is a restriction.

However, Sith Holocron special only lets you play Blue Ability Upgrades. Kylo's Lightsaber is a Blue Weapon Upgrade and isn't a valid choice when resolving Sith Holocron's special.

There is currently 3 kinds of Upgrade: Ability, Weapon and Equipment.

Sith Holocron allows you to switch only for an ability.

Kylo Ren's Lightsaber is a weapon, not an ability.

The Ackbar player is discarding cards when Vader activates because of Vader's ability. Then at the end of the round, you can discard cards before you draw back up to 5.

As for Holocron and Kylo's Saber, a few things are going on here. First, Holocron only allows you to swap it with blue ability upgrades. The lightsaber is not an ability, it is a weapon. Second, Holocron swaps with the upgrade, so if holocron is on Vader you couldn't swap the upgrade onto Tusken.

So could I put mind probe on the Tusken Raider

So could I put mind probe on the Tusken Raider

If the Sith Holocron is on the Tusken, rolled its special side and decided to resolve it; Yes, because Mind Probe is a Blue ability.

Thanks guys

Some sloppy commentary in the first game and then lots of sloppy play by the Vader/Raider player. But everything sticks out x100 on a recording, lol.

In the second game, the Vader/Raider player was rerolling his Holocrons together multiple times despite them being on different characters. They typically rolled blanks, but the special showing up on Vader vs on the Raider is a HUGE difference.

Kind of cool Deck builder site.

I like how it integrates the card images with the lists.
