Question on boba fett

By MashedBROTATOES, in X-Wing

Boba Fett totally drove off a Y-Wing eating Pleisiosaur while riding the Lock Ness Monster, had casual conversation around a Wookiee with his Wookiee pelts in full view, saved the lives of two of the Rebellion's greatest heroes, then escaped a confrontation where he was outnumbered 5:1. Be careful about talking of him so lightly 'friend'.

Jango fought 6 armed Jedi at the same time and beat them all. Also he did it with his bare hands.

Aren't they literally clones of one another?

But that is not the main difference. That would be the training. Jango was trained by Mandalorians. Boba was trained by bounty hunters. Mandalorians were superior fighters able to outfight almost anyone. Plus they prided themselves on being able to fight without weapons and armor and thus not relying on them. Boba being trained by bounty hunters who rely very much on their equipment would have a much harder time fighting if his equipment failed.

So the main difference between the two was the level of training they both recieved. And frankly Jango was better trained. So no matter how close the cloning process was to 100% duplication you are only as good as your training.

PS. There is a youtube video i found that explains the training and storys of both fetts. Have to find it again but when i do i will post it up for you guys. :)

Clones can't be 100% the same as the host. There will be small differences.

That would be an interesting idea for the movie, set when he escapes the Sarlacc. Have Boba Fett be nothing extra special, but primarily living off the formidable reputation of his father. It worked just fine until he encountered Skywalker. News of his ignominious defeat has gotten around, so in one fell swoop he's lost all the respect he had. Now he has to actually work to build it back up, actually becoming the Legend we know him as.

Man this thread is still going? Haha.
