Dunwich Legacy Box: A solution

By Molinext, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

While reading the forums about the Dunwich box I noticed many dislike the box. The old style deluxe boxes were great for shelf display. I also understand people wanting to store the encounter sets from cycle in the deluxe box when the cycle has moved on. The are also people that don't want to throw away the wonderful box art on the cover. There are also people that don't want to hold on to a box just to have sit on shelf. I agree with all the above.

To Preface:

I have gone with an alternate storage for all of my Arkham Horror Card Game. I have gotten the Hobby Lobby Artists Case and a Broken Token Horizontal organizer. I left the palate in as a pressure plate with a folded playmat and a accordion file for all papers and rules booklets. This has worked pretty good so far.

My Dunwich Legacy solution:

I decided I wanted to keep the box for the cover art. I had been trying to figure out how to use it in a way to showcase the art and for it to be practical.

  • Idea 1: Cut out box front and back glue a High-res copy of the campaign log to the back and laminate.
  • Idea 2: Turn the box into a record cover for the rules. As soon as I came up with this one, I loved it.

I have a few pictures of process and final project I was going to attach but files are to big. I will add them asap.
