So playing with K-Wings and A-Slam and I have a question. Can Cracken attack at High PS and pass the action to a K-wing who could then A-Slam and drop a Conner? Assuming you haven't done something blatantly obvious like already slamming earlier in the turn and obviously having them be at range 1

Slam is an action. Advance slams says you can do another action after you slam. Seems logical cracked can have a K-Wing do that. Provided the range and non slam action before hand.

SLAM cannot be performed as a free action according to the rules.

Advanced SLAM can only be used after you perform a SLAM action, and a SLAM action can't be performed as a free action, so although Cracken can pass a K-wing a free action, the K-wing can't use it for a SLAM action. Advanced SLAM doesn't enter into this equation at all as it's timing window is quite narrow. You can only perform a SLAM action during your Perform Action step, and that's the only trigger for Advanced SLAM.

The K-wing could however use Cracken's free action to drop the Conner Net, because that's an action on it's own.

Unless the K already dropped a bomb, of course (remember, one bomb/mine per turn)
