Does anyone have any leads on places to find wave 5 either in Southest Texas or online? I have been hounding my two FLGS for almost a month now, but both of them have no idea the wave 5 shipments will finally come through. Distributors apparently have no idea either. At the same time I have noticed that online sales have dried up as well. Anyone else having a heck a of time finding the new releases?

(side note: both FLGS get fully restocked with X wing and Imperial Assault twice weekly).

I have been trying to hold out to support my brick and mortars, but at this point, I will buy from the first place that can get me my new ships.

Miniature Market appears to have everything in stock except for the Arquitens. Looks like Coolstuffinc has the entire wave in stock.

I bought my last two Arkittens from The Warstore last week.

Yeah I had assumed I would be able to shore up my fleet with more arkittys but been stuck with just the two so far. Cest la vie.

Yeah, WarStore order shoud arrive today. Several local FLGS sold out and have been dragging ass on getting more. Besides, I've been supporting WarStore for many, many years. Miniatures market good too (I mostly get Dropzone stuff from them).

I honestly think it's going to be a while until another wave. FFG seems to be having a lot of supply issues, and they have a lot going on with their new mini wargame (which looks pretty cool), Destiny, the rapid fire onslaught of X-wing waves, etc. Wave 5 was big, and will take a while to shake out and really get a grips on, especially considering it followed Wave 3+4 fairly closely and we are still getting our heads around that one a bit...

First off...Southeast Texas you say? I am in Bryan/College Station. You in Houston? Golden Triangle?

Second...that stinks. You may have to go online to purchase.

I try not to use Amazon for this kind of thing. Please support FLGS and shops like WarStore and Miniature Market; otherwise they go away, and our hobby crumbles...

Now to just restrain myself from throwing in a bunch of extra things, too. And to somehow explain this to my wife. Again. Just... just constantly.

EDIT: I actually checked with my LGS again yesterday. They still carry zero Armada (or X-Wing now, which confuses me since I know they have a decent X-Wing scene), and their ordering was... just not good. I honestly don't understand how that store stays open. Just M:tG all day every day?

I bought some at my LGS to support it, and when I needed more I got them at the WarStore. I had a great experience, and I was really impressed with how quickly they shipped from NY to MA.

This is why I like Amazon. My local stores are almost all comic and Magic places at the moment. This why FFG needs to have this stuff be available at more places. This wave is super hard to find.

yeah this issue is a pain. I pre-ordered all of wave 5 at my FLGS back in late October and got the squadron packs and Corellian Conflict back in December but they say their distributor never got the ships in. Still waiting for my Pelta and Arq to show up.

This very frustrating but it does make me feel a little better that this seems to be a nationwide problem. I thought it was an issue with my FLGS and was ready to start ordering exclusively online in the future.

Have you tried Goldmine games in Richmond? They should have all the new stuff in stock. Let me ask the owner.

Just as an FYI, you should be very sceptical of this claim. 'The distributor is out/never received it' is the LGS equivalent of 'my dog ate my homework'.

Does anyone have experience buying directly from FFG? I'm wondering if there processing and shipping is good? I prefer buying from LGS but everyone in 50 mile radius is out of wave 5 and not giving me any indicator if they'll get more. As the OP said, most places online are also out of much of it.

I'll let you know when I get mine. I ordered the imperial fighter pack and the light cruiser yesterday. They said it shipped already.
