In terms of balance, the game is in a good spot, except for Attanni Mindlink and the Jumpmaster. But those are beatable, too.

Personally, I'd hate AT-ATs and asteroid turrets. This is a game about spaceships, not walkers

As a long-time Vader player who's still fixated on "making him work" I can tell you that from where I am sitting - he is absolutely not a thing.

Unless by thing - you mean overcosted, maneuver-limited and vulnerable to turrets & control.
