Question for the week, what is the best wave 2 ship and Go.

My vote goes to the Falcon. It was the first ship I picked up after a core set. The nostalgia factor...

Falcon of course!

Probably the Falcon, but I'd rather fly and A wing.

Edit: I had to update, I forgot Slave I is wave 2 as well.

My vote is for the A-wing. They're just so much fun to fly.

I'd probably say the Firespray - 3 Bounty Hunters was the first squad I ever used.

Krassis Trelix with heavy laser cannon is a favourite.

Even as a rebel, I know all to well the elegant dance of the Interceptor was a fine gift from wave 2.

It's got to be the Millennium Falcon. Of the Wave 2s it's the most iconic of the bunch and most versatile.

I have to say that I didn't get as much game time as I wanted last night, but it was worth it. There was a Dad and his 10 year old son that had gotten the Core set and wanted to learn more about playing. So, I took an hour or so to talk to them about the game and help them get sorted. There was actually another Dad and son that came up and were out there to do the same thing! Yes, it did totally mess with my game night, but it helps build the scene and helps others get into the game. That's important for longevity, as well.

I did get one game of X-wing in for the podcast. We played Mission 3 and it wasn't that good. I then got 2 games of Destiny in, though. Those were fun.

I am a bit surprised no one has added the interceptor. I can say I fall in love with Turr Phennir at the time maybe even a bit more then the Falcon, I still pick my old go to.

This. No other ship has had more articles about how something else can defeat it. Soontir Fel! The interceptor is also the most fun to fly and best looking of the bunch

I wanted to add heychadwick is a friend and does an outstanding podcast http://shuttletydirium.podbean.com/ . I would tell you to listen to it from start to finish as it gives a great prospective on the game for lets play for fun. There are a lot of excellent podcasts that focus on torney play but Shuttle is in its own home and is very much worth listening too.

Question for the week, what is the best wave 2 ship and Go.

The Millennium Falcon model was the impetus for me buying this game. So for me, it was/is the Millennium Falcon. What a well done miniature in detail and painting. Plus it is so iconic and probably one of the most well known space ships there is, and there are a few to choose from.

The Millennium Falcon!!! The ship that made the Kessel run in 12 parsecs!!

TIE Interceptor is pretty beautiful though and a close second.

For tornys as of today, sure though, (for fun or hotc, everything sees the table) Tie Swarm can balance a meta really quickly and TLT is around, also with the rebel getting tie fighters, ep 8 having a-wings, and the Bobba movie Happening, don't be surprised if any of these ships come back hard. (Plus a Han Solo imp pilot card is never out of the question as he started imps and never discount FFGs love of tie fighters)
