How do you all store your fighters? I ask because I'm having trouble finding a solution that I'm happy with. If I keep them assembled, they just take up too much room in my case. If I disassemble them, they still take up a lot of room because the trees that hold the actual models are spread out, the bases seem to be just a little too wide to fit nicely into any of the divided boxes I have and I have to take the lower peg off to save on height so the dial and slider are loose.

Just a little frustrated rant, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has this issue.

I use a Plano 3750 case for my fighters, currently it has two core sets, plus two Rebel and two Imperial squadron sets in it. I've yet to add the two squadron II packs I have into the case but there's plenty of room for them. I also store the tree separate from the base.
