Hi, Has anyone got any good tips on how to remove the arms from a model.
I want take the arms off my rangers, so I can easily access the front of the figures to apply some Greenstuff mods (they’ll be glued back on afterwards), but I don’t want to rely on just brute force and possibly damaging them.
So far, hair dryer then freezer sounds like it might brittle the glue enough to break easily, any tips / experience on with this technique? (or any other ways that worked). Thanks in advance!
Arm repositioning / removal - glue tricks?
I'd just carefully cut through them with a sharp hobby knife. Make sure you cut away from your body/hands and it's best to use a solid backing (eg tabletop) so you don't slip.
The plastic is soft enough that a sharp knife will cut through it easily.
