Hello,

I'm new to the forum, I've been looking online everywhere I can find for painting guides to the Descent miniatures, but I can't find any pictures anywhere online from someone who has painted the Dark Minotaurs. I think it's an awesome miniature, but wanted to see what other people have done with their miniatures. As of right now, here is the start of the master, I am going to redo the base, was trying something new, and obviously need to do touch up work and redo the skulls for less bleed of the pink, but, I'd like to see other people's work if anyone has done these. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks.

I love this sculpt as well, but I just started getting into Descent. I'm finishing up my Elementals now, so I'll probably get around to these guys in another 5 years

I like your paint job, and like you, I haven't seen any other examples thus far. Makes me really wanna move these guys up on my todo list.

Dark minotaurs are definitely one of my favourite sculpts. I havent really painted that much but this is how mine turned out. The colors are not actually quite as bright as they seem like in the picture.

I like your color choice on the bands of the staff and also the eyes of the skulls. I Hadn't thought about giving the staff band any color. I ended up painting the base just grass patches with dirt and gravel and doing some highlights to the robe. It's so hard to try to "be done" and walk away from the paint job and seal it. I feel like this will be the one minature I will always look back on and want something just a little better. Good job with your miniature and thanks for sharing so I can tweak my figures.
