I have never used an interdictor before. Any thoughts? Also I don't own any Wave V ships or the CC expansion.

I would be tempted to fing 14 points from somewhere and get ECM's and either a Gunnery Team or Xi-7's on the VSD-II. I'd like to see leading Shots on it as well, but you'd struggle for the points.

I think you have too many points invested in squadron defense for a list with no bombing capability to speak of. At a minimum, I would swap Dengar and the two advanced for vanilla interceptors to save you 11 points. Even in a squadron-heavy meta, 78 points in squadron defense is still on the high end.

You can take those points and re-invest them into the ships. I consider Leading Shots a requirement on every ISD2, because that arc is just too important and unreliable not to have dice modification on. After that, XI7 vs ECM is kind of a meta call, but I'd fall more on the side of ECM with the prevalence of accuracy tech for flotillas.

The Interdictor title is a serous amplifier for those Targeting Scramblers. I think you'd get more out of Suppression + title than out of Combat's blue -> red upgrade.
