I really hope they scrap all that Onyx storyline garbage. If AEG hadn't sold the game, I probably would have quit come Onyx. (I would have given it a chance, but nothing I was hearing about it was making me very optimistic.)

I see your point here. But, there were nice Moshi and Tsurushi senseis incoming. And honestly, technically Onyx Naga design, was much fun than anything from Mantis since Lotus, haha.

That's just the point, though. They were going to give us a few senseis to use with other strongholds and say, "See? You guys are still a faction!" Right...just like how Ashigaru are a real faction just because of their sensei...

I haven't actually seen the Naga cards, but for some reason I just can't seem to get excited about Naga like I can for the Tsuruchi.

i'm bummed we never got to see those sensei. the implication was that they were gonna be more than just standard, but the leaks never got as far as mantis.

There is already a World Championship tournament for this game in November. Do I have that right? The game is currently unavailable on their website as of September 24. Stores local to me in the US do not have it, either. Is this the case for everyone who didn't attend GenCon? It seems inherently absurd that the honor of being the game's first World Champion will be bestowed upon someone who played the game for about one month.
