Help Me Choose My Next Expansion

By A Curious Punnisher Player, in X-Wing Off-Topic

I'm stuck between getting a Decimator, Imperial Veterans, and now that it's on my mind, the TIE/SF. Should there be any priority? Note-I already have a TIE Defender, and Punisher

While I'm at it, any really good rebel expansions I should get for my finance sharing opponent? Thanks guys

Imperial veterans!! then Decimator

x7's are just too good in the current game to pass them up. plus as you have the Punisher you can staple TIE mk2 to one of them

also the new bomber title is great as well.

What rebel stuff do you currently have?

IV for me too, but don't let people put you off the TIE/D title. Yes, X7 is more overpowered, but Vessery with TIE/D & Tractor Beam can wreck somebody's day.

i love the Tie D Title but my friend plays power lists so doesnt get used as often as it should lol.

Tie D Tractor beam is great fun on a high PS ship.

Imp vets, it's not even really a question given there's only one answer.

FIVE. CARTEL. MARAUDERS.

I mean Imperial Veterans.

Deci-Vader can still be pretty nasty, but I'd vote for Imperial Veterans too. One not on your list for consideration as well is good ol' Imperial Aces.

Perhaps mine is a silly post but if you are limited by a tight budget... Purchase the ships you love. As times goes by this is vital to me. This should be a game about minis not upgrade cards. Simple. Fun. Friendly.

I like Imp Vets expansion. Two cool ships and a beautiful box. In my opinion the game is better if you play with a limited number of Large ships so purchasing first the small ships is a good choice.

But...your taste and your money.

I agree to buy what you like, but getting more upgrade cards really opens up your list-building options and can make for more enjoyable gameplay. I remember when I was first starting out, and it was very difficult to put together decent, synergistic lists.
