Dual Ship Lists: Viable in wave 5? (2 ships only lists)

Expanding the theme of the Dual ISD thread, are 2 ship lists for either faction viable in wave 5. To the extent you would see them at a tournament and they would stand their own.

I think 2 ship MC80 Assault Cruisers with squadron support is highly viable.

Maybe Spinal and Leading shots, to boost all-around firepower a little, drop Biggs. Maybe drop Jan to regular HWK and use pts for bid (to deny Demo/MC30 rush builds), but her ability covers regular X-wing after dropping Biggs. He seems better utilized in more X-wing mob-focused squadron builds with 4+ escorts in the ball...

They're pretty tanky, but I'd consider swapping out for more generic rogues. I think the new Lancers could do quite well in this list. At the points you've spent on fighters you could get up to 7 of them and gain 5 points for a buy (Or buy six, the named one, and drop your bid a bit).

I think this list should be fine going second. You want to be able to move your second cruiser into a position where you'll be able to tag at least one ship no matter what the opponent with initiative does.

Also, fun point of grammar (at least I find grammar fun!): Much/many is like less/fewer, the former refers only to a nebulous amount (or to another adjective that does so), while the latter refers to a concrete, countable (even if un-enumerated) amount. "They had fewer liters of water than yesterday," versus "There was much less water for the group." :-D Happy typing!

This is actually one of grammar issues I notice most often. My favorite grammar info!!!!!

I love dual ship list, they are so easy to beat :)

i run them all the time. In wave 4 there is a high learaing curve, but they are still viable. Wave 5 is too many unknowns yet.

I'll bite. Two ship lists are still viable from experience, but more risky than ever. You must build a list to win the squadron minigame. I suggest an ISD and GSD pairing with Moff Jerry, a large initiative bid, and exactly one Lambda shuttle.
